the event. You will NOT have the option to choose on the day of the event.
Format:
• Individual Stroke Play (Gross AND Net total scores)
• 2 days with 18 holes each day
• The field will be grouped into 4 flights (Championship, A, B, C) based on Event Handicaps
• Flights will be determined and announced when tee times are announced.
• To qualify for this event Current Member will need 10 Rounds completed. A maximum of 5 Rounds can be from the previous year and 5 Rounds from this year or any combination of the two to equal 10 Rounds.
• New Members This Year will need 10 Rounds this year to qualify for this event.
Handicap Allowance:
• Each player’s Event Handicap will be equal to 95% of Men’s Club Course Handicap based on playing tee.
• Handicaps will NOT adjust during the Event.
• Allowances are based on the USGA recommendation for this format.
Flight Selection:
Players will be grouped in an effort to promote competition within each flight. Therefore, flights may not all be the same size. Prize money for each flight will be dependent upon the number of players within the flight.
Event Play:
• Each player plays his own ball on every hole.
• Record each player’s gross (actual) score for each hole in the online scoring system.
• Player’s net score for each round will be determined by subtracting the player’s Event Handicap from his total gross score for the round.
• The online scoring system will calculate/determine each player’s gross and net total scores for each individual round, but it will NOT calculate the 2-day totals. The 2-day totals will be calculated by the Scoring
Committee at the end of round 2.

Payouts & Skins Game:
• ONLY the player who shoots the lowest 2-day Gross total score from the GOLD tees will be crowned as “Club Champion”. We repeat, “You MUST play from the GOLD tees to be eligible for the title of Club
Champion.”
• The number of places paid and corresponding Pro Shop credit amounts will be determined, and announced, in advance based on the portion of the Men’s Club budget that has been allocated for this event. The event will include the following payouts for Pro Shop credits:
o Day 1 Low Net Total Scores (each flight)
o Day 2 Low Net Total Scores (each flight)
o Event (2-day Total) Low Net Total Scores (each flight)
o Day 1 Low Gross Total Scores (based on tees: GOLD, BLUE, Combined WHITE/RED)
o Day 2 Low Gross Total Scores (based on tees: GOLD, BLUE, Combined WHITE/RED)
o Event (2-day Total) Low Gross Total Scores (based on tees: GOLD, BLUE, Combined WHITE/RED)
o Closest-to-the-Pin each Day – 2-GOLD/BLUE, 2-WHITE/RED, 1-BOTH
• Unlike weekly open play, players are eligible to win both low net and low gross Pro Shop credits. Pro Shop
credits are applied to player accounts by The Falls staff after payouts are announced to the Club.
• Daily Skins game is optional for this event and will use the same calculation as the weekly skins games in
open play (80% of Men’s Club Course Handicap using half pops with a maximum of 18 holes. Like weekly
skins in open play, the skins games will also be split between GOLD/BLUE tees and WHITE/GREEN tees.
Skins payout amounts will be determined by the total amount in the skins pot divided by the number of skins
outstanding.
Weather Policy:
• Pro Shop Credits CTP : If at least 40% of players on the published tee sheet for the first day of the event decide not to finish play due to Inclement Weather then Pro Shop Credits will NOT be paid
out. If 60% complete the FIRST day and you decided to not finish you will not be eligible for the second day. If First day is completed there is Inclement Weather the second day , 60% will need to
complete their round for the day to count. If SECOND day is not completed the scores from the FIRST DAY WOULD COUNT FOR CLUB CHAMPION
• Players who complete their round will have their scores count for HANDICAP.
• Skins: If you tee off your money remains in the skins pot no matter how many holes you complete.
There will be no refund of skins money unless the course closes to us either day. You will be eligible for skins on the holes that you have completed.
• Birdie Board Hole-in-One Pot: Hole by Hole will count for both BB and HIOP should you decide to not finish due to weather.
