Format:
• 4-man Team
• 18 holes
• The team’s best 3 net scores (of the 4 net scores) will be counted on each hole • Play tee box that you signed up for on week one
• Individual Skins ( GOLD / BLUE ) and ( WHITE / GREEN ) TEE BOX
Handicap Allowance:
• Event Handicap will be equal to 100% of Men’s Club Course Handicap for each player
• Allowances are based on the USGA recommendation for this format
• Must have a Men’s Club Handicap ( Minimum of Three Rounds )
Team Selection:
Players who have signed up to play will be divided into 4 groups based on Men’s Club Course Handicap (A,B,C,D).
The groups will be determined in an effort to have the same number of players in each group. Randomly, one player from each group will be selected to comprise each 4-man team.
In the event of an odd number of players in a group (or a “no show” on the day of play) where a team(s) may not have a player from each group (A,B,C,D), the affected team(s) will play the round as normal. At the conclusion of the
round, the Scoring Committee will randomly draw a replacement player in each missing group (A,B,C,D) from those players in the group who played to determine the team’s missing player(s). Each replacement players’ scores will be
used to determine the affected teams’ hole-by-hole and total team scores for the event. As a result, replacement players will be on two separate teams and eligible for Pro Shop credit payouts earned by either (or both) teams.
Event Play:
• Each player plays his own ball on every hole
• Record each player’s gross (actual) score on each hole
• The team’s best 3 net scores (of the 4 net scores) will be counted on each hole.
• Player’s net score for each hole will be determined by reducing his gross score by one stroke (two strokes
when warranted) on any hole where a player’s Event Handicap is equal to, or higher than, the assigned
course handicap for the hole.
• When a player’s Event Handicap does not dictate receiving a one-stroke reduction based on the course
handicap for the hole, the player’s net score for the hole will be equal to his gross (actual) score.
• One person from the team should keep a paper scorecard and record each players gross score and another
person should keep each players gross score on the scoring app. Compare the scorecard and the app before
uploading scoring app.
• Each team’s placement (order of finish) in the event will be based on the 18-hole total team net score as
determined by the scoring committee.
